Amman-Jerash-Petra-Wadi rum
Itinerary
Day 1
Amman:
Arrival at amman airport, meet, assist with our representative and transfer to hotel in amman for overnight.
Day 2
Amman – Jerash – Amman:
Breakfast, proceed for a city tour of amman (visit the citadel and the archeological museum, then visit the roman theater with old souks in down town, and the new area of the city) then drive to the north to visit the greco-roman city of jerash (visit the adrien arch, the forum, the roman theater, the artemis temple, the byzantine churches and the colonnaded street), then back to the hotel in amman for overnight.
Day 3
Amman – Petra:
Breakfast, transfer to petra , en route visit mount nebo where moses viewed the promised land, St. Georges church in madaba with its famous mosaic map of palestine and continue to kerak , visit the crusader castle, and then to petra for overnight at hotel.
Day 4
Petra – Wadi rum – Petra:
Breakfast , Visit of petra – take a horse up to the siq- visit (the treasury, the royal tombs, the roman theatre, the colonnaded street, qasr el bint) and back . leave to wadi rum visit the desert with jeep 4×4 for 2 hours, then back to petra – visit of petra by night surrounded by thousand of candles, and then overnight at hotel in petra. (petra by night can be visited only on mondays, wednesdays, and thursda-ys).
Day 5
Petra -Dead Sea:
Breakfast, leave petra and proceed to Dead Sea , to float, and relax at the lowest point in the earth overnight at dead sea.
Day 6
Day 6 Dead Sea – Amman:
Transfer from dead sea to amman – afternoon free for shopping. Overnight in amman. Or you can fly out from amman to your onward destination.
