Katra-Srinagar-Gulmarg-Pahalgam-Jammu
Itinerary
Day 1
Jammu to Katra (47 Kms& 1Hrs 30 Min):
Arrive at Jammu Station/airport. Meet & greet and transfer by car to Hotel at Katra. After Check in at Hotel. After check-in start your Yatra to Vashnodavi. After pooja and darshan, return to the Hotel Dinner at Hotel & Night stay at Katra.
Day 2
Katra:
After breakfast you have the choice to go to Shivkhori Yatra and come back till evening, Dinner at Hotel Night stay at Hotel in Katra.
Day 3
Katrato Srinagar (5200 Ft.) (300 Kms&8 Hrs):
After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar. On arrival check in at Houseboat. Evening you can enjoy Boat Ride (at your own cost) on Dal Lake by “SHIKARA” to witness the lake & experience the aquatic life of Dal Lake. Also see the scenic extravaganza of the Kashmir and enjoy the profusion of colors in the Paradise on Earth. Dinner & Night stay at the Houseboat Srinagar.
Day 4
Srinagar:
After breakfast Check-In at Hotel in Srinagar. ThenAfter visit Mogul Gardens, “Chashmi-E- Shahi” (The Royal spring), “Nishat” (The Garden of Pleasure) and “Shalimar” (Abode of All). Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard On return visit a local Handicrafts Emporium for hand-knotted specialty silken carpets, shawls, jewellery etc. In the Afternoon, visit Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, providing panoramic views of the city, along with views of the famous Dal Lake & River Jehlum. Dinner at Hotel & Night stay at Srinagar.
Day 5
Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar (84 Kms& 3 Hrs. Drive One Way):
After breakfast, leave for full day excursion for Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg is also called as “The meadow of gold” It has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired (at your own cost) for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer. Return back to Srinagar. Dinner at Hotel & Night stay at Srinagar.
Day 6
Srinagar to Gulmarg (54 Kms& 2 Hrs One Way):
After breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg, called as ‘Meadow of Flowers”. Gulmarg is 54 Kms from Srinagar at an altitude of 8700-ft. It is a famous Ski Resort & the world’s highest 18 hole Golf Course. The place was prominent during the British time. After Check-in at Hotel. Later in the day you can enjoy a pony ride & also the scenic view of Kongdori on a Cable Car Ride – (Gandola & Horse ride at your own cost). Enjoy local sightseeing at Gulmarg. Evening return back to Hotel Dinner at Hotel & Night stay at Gulmarg.
Day 7
Gulmarg to Pahalgam (154 Kms& 5 Hrs):
After breakfast, transfer from Gulmarg to Pahalgam, It is Kashmir’s premier resort, cool even during the height of summer where the maximum temperature does not exceed 25 degree. While moving from Srinagar to Pahalgam visit the Awantipura Ruins of 9th Century & Mattan Temple. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Dinner at Hotel & Night stay at Pahalgam.
Day 8
Pahalgam:
Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River. Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd’s village with breathtaking views. After breakfast, enjoy the nature & walk around the banks of River Lidder. Pahalgam is famous for some trekking routes as well, so you can also go for trekking or horse riding (at your own cost) to the nearby places. After lunch, excursion trip to places like Chandanwari, Betab Valley & Aru valley route to holy cave (at your own cost) this happens to be a preferred spot among domestic tourists, Evening Return back to hotel. Dinner at Hotel & Night stay at Pahalgam.
Day 9
Pahalgam To Jammu (300 Kms / 8 – 9 Hrs):
After breakfast, transfer to Jammu, check in to the hotel. Dinner and night stay at hotel in Jammu.
Day 10
Jammu:
After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to Airport / Station for your further journey to wards your home town.
