Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Beijing:
On arrival at Beijing, you will be met and transferred to hotel. Free on your own for the rest of the day. Overnight at the hotel in Beijing.
Day 2
Beijing:
This morning we depart on a trip to the Great Wall of China at Juyong Pass. Explore the history of a wall built hundreds of years ago, yet which remains largely intact as it snakes endlessly across the mountain ridgelines. On the way, visit the Jade Factory, back to the city for the Silk factory visit, Enroute Photo stop at Olympic stadium. Overnight at the hotel in Beijing. (B)
Day 3
Beijing:
This morning visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, the largest and most complete group of ancient buildings in China. The entire complex consists of 8,706 rooms in which an estimated 8,000 to 10,000 people lived including 3,000 eunuchs, as well as maids and concubines, all within 170 acres. Later visit the Summer palace. Free time for shopping Xiushui market. Overnight at the hotel in Beijing. (B)
Day 4
Beijing – Xian:
This morning we transfer you to the airport or train station to board your flight or train to Xi’an. Arrive in Xi’an you wil be met and transferred to the hotel. Later we take you on a city tour visiting the City wall (photo stop), Overnight at the hotel in Xian. (B)
Day 5
Xian:
Proceed for a Full day tour to Terra cotta, crockery factory, back to city visit bell tower square and time for free shopping. Overnight at the hotel in Xian. (B, L)
Day 6
Xi’an – Shanghai
This morning Transfer to railway station/airport for high speed bullet train/flight to Shanghai, Arrive in Shanghai you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Shanghai. (B)
Day 7
Shanghai:
After breakfast at the hotel, full day tour to the Jade Buddha temple, Silk Factory. Then visit the Bund, lined with fine colonial buildings from the 1930’s which have been restored as a showcase of the city and are spectacularly lit up at night. After that visit, the 88 th floor Jinmao Tower, and enjoy free shopping at Nanjing road. Overnight at the hotel in shanghai. (B)
Day 8
Depart Shanghai:
Today, enjoy a journey on the magnetic train as you are transferred to the Pudong International airport for your flight back home, end of service. (B)
